Sammamish Farms is a small farm founded in 2017 in the Samammish Valley to preserve open space and improve local food access. We believe a local food community is an integral part of personal and family health, ecosystem preservation, and the legacy of settlement in the valley. Sammamish Farms works with local producers throughout the valley to bring fresh, delicious foods to families and indivuduals across King County and works with some of the best kitchens in Seattle and on the East side. We've worked with several non-profits and food banks to improve the availability of nutritious vegetables, herbs and fruits to communities nearby and continue to pursue an increasingly local customer base to reduce food miles and environmental impacts from food production. We employ growing techniques that respect the land and maintain a robust biodiversity in our soils and foster native ecosystem restoration on our site through improving natural waterways and minimal soil disturbance techniques. We hope you join us as a CSA member or visit us at our farm on a Friday during our market season to see our work and enjoy our produce.
